Here's what you'd do:

  • The Assembler II is responsible for assembling, testing, programming, and packing a variety of circuit board assemblies encompassing Pin Thru-hole and client.
  • Reports to the Production Supervisor.
  • Follow assembly procedures and visual aid instructions.
  • Verify the integrity of the material to be assembled according to the assembly procedure and visual aid instruction.
  • Assemble components (resistors, capacitors, connectors, sockets) in specific printed circuit board locations, following the procedure and visual aid instructions.
  • Follow the assembly procedure, ECO, and visual aide instructions to add wires to specific printed circuit board locations.
  • Pre-form components lead per IPC standard, assembly procedure and visual aide instruction.
  • Wash printed circuit boards.
  • Inspect your own work to ensure placement accuracy and completeness of the work performed.
  • Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures.
  • Identify and report defective components.
  • Perform pack-out operations as needed.
  • As needed, perform stripping, masking, conformal coat, touch-up, bonding, baking, and de-masking requirements on repair and overhaul units.
  • Operate conformal coat automated machinery and perform conformal coat processes as needed.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the work-in-process associated with the work cell.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and the surrounding workspace.
  • Participate in Quality team meetings, as needed.
  • Train other employees.
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $17.00 / hr + 10% differential

Hours: 40 hrs/ week, 1st or 2nd shift

Length: Temp to direct

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of staking experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in using and working under a microscope
  • Minimum 1 year of Soldering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in coating application/manual spray environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with high-volume work..
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly in the manufacturing industry.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature.
  • Knowledge of conformal coat and masking procedures.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC Standards.
  • IPC-A-610 Certified.
  • ESD Training.
  • Ability to use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches and screwdrivers).
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to read procedures, interpret visual aids, and follow mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Basic computer skills, problem-solving, and workstation skills.
  • Have the ability to lead in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have good fine motor skills to manipulate small components.
  • Need precision and coordination.
