Set up CNC servo printer, operate CNC OMSO servo, NOVAX M,screens for artwork, setup each SKU on machinery , troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on department machinery and equipment to ensure that quality silkscreened products are consistent. Essential Function and Responsibilities: Adheres to Amcor Rigid Packaging Safety and Quality policies and procedures. Monitor assigned line operation while complying with safety, quality, production, and housekeeping standards by: Verify operating conditions and settings against Process Set-up Sheet and Shop Order. Ensuring that safety guards are in place. Conduct quality checks. Coordinate takeover from the previous shift. Monitor the auxiliary equipment to make sure it is not damaging bottles and is maintaining a smooth flow. Maintain lines for cleanliness and orderliness, as shift progresses. Maintain required documentation and read available documentation posted at the line (previous LO's checklists, Quality Alerts, Line Notes etc.). Start-up and shut down lines (purge out materials) Perform color and material changes without supervision and assistance. Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan facility operations. Maintaining production efficiencies and scrap minimization and is responsible for the Scrap Reduction Reports and Team efforts to reduce Scrap and increase efficiencies. Work with the maintenance group to identify mechanical opportunities and improve capabilities of equipment. Plan production to meet ensure customer deadlines. Alert leadership and appropriate personnel of any deviations from standard or normal operating conditions. Perform changeovers, when needed. Perform screen changes without assistance or supervision. Make Screens (wash all screen parts, apply coating of screen, heat screen for appropriate time, expose screen with artwork, wash screen again, dry with appropriate tools, coat with approved products, dry again, apply approved Silver Tape all over screen) Troubleshoot all aspects of bottle print quality and bottle handling problems (i.e., adjust distribution, wheel speeds, equipment timing, etc.) Must be able to lubricate, inspect and record conditions of wear and tear. Perform all mechanical and processing aspects of a line set-up and start-up (including setting print chuck, print height, pin height, position chuck, verifying tooling against specifications, measuring, and inspecting tooling, programming vision system, and setting downstream equipment and other). Read and interpret bottle specification sheets and all quality data sheets. Train packers, as needed. Operate hand pallet jack or forklift, as needed. Assist with new product trials/sampling, when needed. Perform all other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Some post-secondary education preferred (i.e., technical, or vocational education) Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must possess an elevated level of focus and accuracy to identify printing issues on bottles. Basic math, computer, and organizational skills Physical Requirements:
