Aon is looking for a Service Designer in New York, NY.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days per week in our New York City office.

You will contribute to roadmaps and delivery of digital products with a focus on experience strategy and interaction design. Aligned to our Product Management team, this new role will directly shape customer and colleague digital experiences, and inform future ways of working.

You will partner closely with product managers to understand upstream business inputs, and with UI designers to ensure downstream fidelity to strategic intentions. The maps, flow diagrams, wireframes and user research plans you create will bridge gaps between requirements documents and high-fidelity visual design.

Required skills:

  • Diagramming user flows & system processes
  • Creating low-fidelity wireframes
  • Conducting qualitative user research
  • Communicating with stakeholders
  • Collaborating with product, engineering and UI / visual design roles

Required experiences:

  • Minimum 3 years in digital design discipline(s)
  • Minimum 3 years focus on service design, UX, interaction design, experience design or related - distinct from UI / visual design
  • Minimum 3 years designing experiences for b2b, b2b2c or equivalently complex interactions
  • Minimum 1 year producing design deliverables within and for a large, matrixed organization
  • Minimum 1 years facilitating qualitative user research, including usability testing
  • Minimum 1 year producing design deliverables within an Agile or similar product operating model

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120.000 to $135,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
