Position Purpose |
The Properties (Props) Master, in cooperation with other members of the production team, assists in defining the physical elements of the production within the constraints of time, labor, budget, and organizational policies. |
Required Qualifications |
- High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of applicable experience.
- Building, acquiring, and managing properties for theatrical productions.
- Properties budget management.
- Able to adhere to a production calendar and meet production deadlines.

- BA in Theater
- Scenic painting experience

This is a part-time temporary position. The incumbent can expect to work 20 hours per week for up to 9 months.

This position will organize, clean, sort, repair, and maintain the Department of Theater's stock of stage properties. This position will also build and maintain props for the department of theater's productions. This position may lead a small team of student workers on occasion. |
