Job Description: Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time nurse for day shift for the med clinic. Monday-Friday typically 8am-4:30pm, but hours could vary based on hospital need. Essential Job Functions: Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process throughout the patients hospitalization, from admission to discharge, consistent with the patients age, gender and cultural specific needs. Complete documentation and assignments within established time frames. Assists the Primary Care Provider in med Clinic, schedules appointments and arranges transportation to appointments. Performs EKG's. Provides back-up to Ancillary Services Department for Infection Prevention. Employee Health and UR. Available to work on the patient care units as needed.
