Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test strategies and plan on functional requirements Lead test planning, and when part of a team, drive/build test cases for stories in the given sprint as per story acceptance criteria Build and use test data required to accomplish execution of test cases Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression) Ownership in end-end testing Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timely solutions Apply quality principles throughout the product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentation Ensure that all the standards and process are being implemented within a projects Requirements: 10 years of experience in Software Testing with Agile Experience with Selenium/TOSCA for UI and database Experience with Autosys scheduling tools, SQL, DB, ETL technologies Working knowledge of test management software (ex: qTest, Octane) Ability to draft executive level reports and lead test report discussion with senior leadership Pay Range: $50.42-$58.42 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
