POSITION

We are looking for a Junior Application Engineer to join our Allspring Engineering and Technology (AllspringET) team. In this role, you'll help build tools and systems that directly support our investment professionals and business operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to grow their skills in modern application development, cloud technologies, and data engineering.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model with a requirement to be in the office 3 days a week.

Location(s): Charlotte, NC or Milwaukee, WI

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assist in developing tools and APIs that support investment teams.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and help prototype solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to design scalable and secure solutions.
  • Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - June 2026.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Interest in financial services and client-facing roles.

Base Pay Range: $85,000 - $90,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
