At First Mid, base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of discretionary short-term incentives (i.e. bonus, incentives, and/or commission). Responsible for completion of financial analyses for commercial and ag loan relationships and activities related to the oversight and monitoring of the commercial loan portfolio.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Perform financial statement reviews on existing and prospective commercial and ag loan relationships. Monitors adherence to lending policies for existing and prospective relationships.
  • Create professional financial analysis presentations for review by lending personnel and makes risk grade recommendations
  • Compiles data to complete industry and peer financial analyses.
  • Perform financial statement reviews on existing and potential Bank vendors.
  • Calculate and analyze financial ratios to monitor borrower compliance with business loan agreements.
  • Calculate and analyze borrowing base advancement and line of credit availability to monitor the borrower's compliance with business loan agreements based upon the borrower provided financials.
  • Ensure procedures for out of compliance covenants and borrowing bases are followed according to Policy.
  • Provide reports to Loan Administration Committee on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Complete training associated with job function.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.



Qualifications

Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and/or commensurate banking experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Formal training in Microsoft Excel preferred

  • Comfortable in a team environment working with deadlines.
