EH&S Co-op

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented EH&S Co-op to join our team and help foster a safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace. This cooperative education opportunity is designed to integrate academic learning with practical experience, offering extended exposure to environmental stewardship, occupational safety, and regulatory compliance. The co-op term provides meaningful contributions to business initiatives while building a strong foundation for a future career in EH&S.

• Support site-level EH&S programs, including hazard assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits

• Assist in maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
• Contribute to environmental reporting, waste management tracking, and sustainability initiatives
• Participate in risk assessments and support implementation of corrective actions
• Help develop and deliver safety training materials for employees and contractors
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and HR to promote a culture of safety
• Maintain EH&S documentation and assist with internal and external audit preparation
• Lead a developmental project or initiative aligned with business priorities and academic goals

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with EH&S regulations and industry best practices preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EH&S software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Passion for continuous improvement, sustainability, and employee well-being
