The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Director, Facilities Management for our Chicago office. This opportunity is needed in the office 5 days a week. Starting base salary = $102,000- $128,000- $154,000 (commensurate with related experience). The AHA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. The Director, Facilities Management, is responsible for directing, coordinating and overseeing the administration of facility-related operations and services in an office environment. Ensure smooth operations that include lease administration, space planning and utilization, construction project management, capital expenditures (lease improvements), repairs and maintenance, employee health and safety, mail services, copy and printing services, internal meeting arrangements and reception services. Provide assistance to the Senior Director, Facilities Management on various facilities-related and management issues. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Bachelor's Degree in related field of Business Administration (required)
Experience
7 years: Real estate management experience, including interaction with all levels of management. Progressive operational, facilities and construction management responsibilities and human resources interaction.
