Job Summary.
Under the general direction of the Administrative Director of Laboratory and the Pathologists, coordinates and directs all Phlebotomy and blood specimen collection services for inpatient, outpatient, nursing home, home care, and offsite phlebotomy locations.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate strongly preferred.
Associates degree in a science or healthcare related field preferred.
Experience
A minimum of five years experience in Phlebotomy required.
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification
Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Computer proficiency (including MS Word, Outlook, Meditech strongly preferred).
