- As a Cable Inspection Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our cable products.
- You'll use your expertise to inspect cables, identify non-conformances, and work with our team to resolve quality issues.
- Inspect cables using predetermined methods, operations, and specifications.
- Use various measuring devices, such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales.
- Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues.
- Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.

Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards.
- Minimum 2 years of IPC 620 soldering experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Computer Operations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Blueprint Reading
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IPC-WHMA-A-620
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Wireharness Print Reading
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient with Personal Computers and newer applications
- Good background in cable manufacturing and inspection
- Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will make you a valuable asset to our organization.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management
- Good background in the manufacturing process of cable inspections.
- Ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.
- Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
- A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues.
