We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to join our senior management team as our next Director of Facilities.
In this vital role, you’ll oversee the care and operation of our campus, ensuring our facilities are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for animals, staff, volunteers, and visitors alike. From managing capital projects and budgets to leading our maintenance team, you’ll be the driving force behind keeping Marin Humane’s campus running smoothly today—and planning for its growth tomorrow.
What You’ll Do: · Lead campus facilities and maintenance operations · Oversee capital projects and long-term facility planning · Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and compliance with safety standards · Mentor and support staff while fostering a culture of teamwork · Play a key role in advancing our mission and values
What We’re Looking For: · 5+ years’ experience managing complex building systems and capital projects · Knowledge of construction, building operations, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscape maintenance · Strong leadership and project management skills · A collaborative, service-oriented mindset and commitment to DEIB values · Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
