Shipping Associate - 2nd shift

All about the role:

In this role you will be responsible for processing orders complete and shipping on time to customers. You will be based in Fletcher, NC and this role is onsite.

Your main tasks:

  • Execute the processes and steps detailed in the Shipping Department's work instructions, standard operating procedures, forms, and other associated documentation.

  • Conduct quality audits on the pieces being processed to verify conformity with work instructions.

  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the principles of Teamship.

  • Perform all work, tasks, projects, or duties as assigned to you by your Lead, Supervisor, or Manager in a timely manner and with an acceptable level of quality.

  • The teammate will also perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a similar industry.

  • Is self-aware with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working with others.

  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of not meeting deadlines/ cost of poor quality.

  • Knowledge of operating systems and equipment used in each department.

  • Basic understanding and experience with MS Office, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to professionally communicate in English, both verbally and written.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis.

  • Ability to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.

  • Ability to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, bending and to spend extended periods of time sitting.
