We're seeking a
Quality Engineer Intern to join our Quality team in Summer 2026. This role is ideal for a motivated student looking to gain real-world experience in electronics manufacturing quality systems and practices.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Intern, you will support our QA/QC processes by:
- Assisting in quality inspections of PCBAs at various stages of production (incoming, in-process, and final)
- Supporting failure analysis and root cause investigations for non-conforming products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Participating in audits (internal and customer) and preparing quality documentation
- Collecting and analyzing production and quality data using tools like Pareto charts, control charts, and FMEAs
- Helping maintain and improve quality management system (QMS) documentation in compliance with ISO 9001
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process control implementation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering,, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, AOI, reflow, X-ray, functional testing, etc.) is a plus
- Basic understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or IPC-A-610 is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis tools is a plus
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a manufacturing environment
- ITAR REQUIREMENTS- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident, (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. * 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. * 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
