The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides information technology leadership and support to the Georgia Institute of Technology, working in partnership with academic and business units to meet the unique needs of a leading research university. OIT serves as the primary source of enterprise-wide information technology and telecommunications services in support of students, faculty, staff, and researchers.

Job Summary

The Enterprise Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving enterprise systems and processes to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency within the institution. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide ongoing support for enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Analyze and assess enterprise systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for process improvement.

Job Duty 2 -
Design and implement system modifications and enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business needs to optimize system performance.

Job Duty 3 -
Conduct training sessions for users to promote effective utilization of enterprise systems and ensure adherence to best practices.

Job Duty 4 -
Monitor system performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure systems operate at optimal levels and meet user expectations.

Job Duty 5 -
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and end-users to facilitate communication and ensure that technology solutions meet user needs.

Job Duty 6 -
Prepare detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to support system maintenance and user training efforts.

Job Duty 7 -
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance the institution's enterprise systems.

Job Duty 8 -
Assist in the development of project plans and timelines for enterprise system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring the timely delivery of technology solutions.

Job Duty 9 -
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring that technology solutions align with organizational goals.

Job Duty 10 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Associate's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced certification may be preferred or required.

Required Experience
Two or more years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Designing applications and technical writing experience is preferred

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Integration Mindset: Understanding of how applications exchange data (APIs, connectors, ETL processes) and ability to support cross-system integrations.

General Technical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn unfamiliar systems, and ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies.

Web Application Support: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain web-based applications, including some exposure to older frameworks as well as modern low-code/no-code tools.

Document and Content Management Systems: Experience supporting enterprise document management, workflow, or archiving solutions.

Digital Transaction / e-Signature Platforms: Familiarity with secure electronic signature or contract automation systems.

Automation & Workflow Tools: Comfort building, maintaining, or troubleshooting business process automations or data workflows.

Reporting & Analytics: Experience working with business intelligence dashboards, reports, or data visualization tools.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires effective oral and written communication skills; the ability to plan, organize, and multi-task in order to meet deadlines. This job also requires an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications; and a demonstrated experience of business systems and IT architecture. Demonstrated skills involving developing solutions with little or no precedents; being detail oriented and well organized is also required.
