Your Role on Our Team:

Reports to: Operations Leadership with a dotted line to the Group Manager of Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Group Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize supply chain operations across three manufacturing plants. This role is both strategic and tactical, requiring direct involvement in day-to-day operations while setting the long-term direction for production planning, operations buying, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and works closely with plant teams to drive results. This leader will focus on aligning processes across plants, applying lean principles, maximizing efficiency, and minimizing risk through effective use of the ERP system and supply chain tools.

Note: This description outlines primary responsibilities. Additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and corporate standards.
  • Actively engage with plant teams to support daily execution of planning, procurement, and inventory management activities; be visible and hands-on in operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for production planning, procurement, and inventory management to balance manufacturing efficiency and customer demand.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop supply chain staff across all plants, building expertise in supply chain fundamentals and tools.
  • Standardize processes and drive alignment across all manufacturing sites to ensure consistency, accuracy, and operational excellence.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve supply chain performance.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to balance service levels with working capital targets.
  • Leverage the ERP system to improve forecasting, planning accuracy, procurement efficiency, and inventory visibility.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Track key supply chain metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turns, purchase order cycle time) and report performance to leadership.

What tools you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field; MBA or certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Strong background in production planning, procurement, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Hands-on leadership style with willingness to dive into operations and solve problems alongside the team.
  • Experience with lean tools and methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Strong ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, RF Smart) with the ability to drive system-based improvements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Experience in multi-plant operations and standardizing supply chain processes across facilities.
  • Working knowledge of S&OP processes and demand forecasting.
  • Change management experience and the ability to influence across functions and levels.
