The Product Management Manager focuses on guiding and executing the delivery of business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products. Within their designated enterprise product line, Managers work closely with teams of business partners, designers, and developers. They support in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization, and support cross-functional product teams.

Strategy & Planning:



  • Develops, maintains, and communicates capabilities-based product roadmaps and performance
  • Gains a thorough understanding of end consumer and business stakeholder needs, both existing and potential, and uses that knowledge to help deliver enterprise products that provide unparalleled experience
  • Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy and clearly communicates direction and product priorities to the product team and business partners
  • Meets with users and stakeholders as needed to understand processes, pain points and system waste in order to identify where to improve the user experience
  • Creates epics to drive improvements to product vision, features and back end systems, and adjusts for new business models
  • Determines value to the business of anticipated product updates Identifies goals, metrics and appropriate analytics to measure the performance of products and continually makes recommendations and refinements to products based on learnings
  • Looks across product teams with a focus on alignment and dependencies


Delivery & Execution:



  • Reviews recommended solutions and work of product team to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder and end user priorities
  • Documents, reviews, and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met
  • Removes roadblocks and obstacles that may impair product teams to help ensure delivery of the product in order to meet strategic, financial and technical goals
  • Receives and prioritizes incoming requests from business partners and stakeholders while keeping in mind the business strategy, product vision and user needs
  • Provides regular updates to leadership regarding progress of products within portfolio


People:




  • Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to Product Managers and Business Analysts



  • Fosters collaboration with team members (within and across squads or balanced teams) to drive value and identify and resolve impediments



  • Acts as a proponent of modern software development practices



  • Advocates for the end user and stakeholder by becoming associated with the product, empathizing with and understanding user needs



  • Works with the product team to continuously assess progress, disseminate lessons learned and understand next steps



  • Manages cross functional team and stakeholder expectations to execute on product strategy and provides education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience



  • Guides more junior team members in strategy, alignment, analysis and execution tasks



  • Participates in and contributes to learning activities around modern software design and development core practices (communities of practice)



  • Attracts, retains and develops top talent to build a world class Product Management Team

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce Sales, Marketing, CRM, Experience, Service, Data, and App Cloud
  • Proficiency overseeing multiple products using agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in working in a fast paced, fluid, globally dispersed managed service environment where priorities shift on a regular basis

    • Conducting user research and testing to understand needs
    • identifying goals, metrics and analytics to measure product value
    • Experience conducting competitive research and analysis


  • Ability to influence functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization
  • Proficiency in creating, prioritizing and accepting epics and user stories
  • Ability to listen and manage expectations of multiple stakeholders at all levels within the business (Executive Leadership Team, store associates, etc.)
  • Proficiency in active listening communicating at all levels while gracefully managing expectations of multiple stakeholders


Preferred Skills & Qualifications:



  • Experience with videography and understanding of video editing principles.
  • Previous journalism or news writing experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs including but not limited to Photoshop and Premiere Pro highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:



  1. Remain in a seated or stationary position for extended periods.
  2. Ability to work for extended periods of time, leveraging office tools such as computers.
  3. Ability to host conference calls.
  4. Ability to travel via car, plane, train, bus.
  5. Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 50 pounds occasionally.



SALARY

Base Salary Range: $150 ,000 - $170,000 annually.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
