Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Shift Supervisor to work on our Fuel Conditioning Facility team. Our team works a rotating 4x12 schedule located out of our Fuel Cycle Facility (FCF) at the Materials and Fuels Complex. ***Internal Candidate has been Identified*** FCF work activities including waste handling/storage, processing and treating nuclear fuel, radioactive and hazardous material handling/storage as well as tracking, packaging, transferring, receiving, and storing fissionable materials. The FCF Shift Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations and maintenance activities within the nuclear facility. As first line management, provide managerial and technical expertise to the on-duty Shift Supervisor and facility personnel performing activities within assigned facility. Responsible to implement all functions contained within the Management Model. Responsibilities Include:

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires operation of job-related equipment and driving a vehicle. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
