JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fabricator Helper to assist in the preparation, fabrication, and assembly of fencing components in our shop and warehouse facility. This role is vital to supporting the shop team in maintaining efficient production of high-quality fencing materials used in residential, commercial, and industrial installations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Assist fabricators with the cutting, grinding, welding, and assembly of metal fencing components. * Prepare materials and tools for daily production, including loading/unloading supplies and organizing inventory. * Operate basic power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment under supervision. * Perform quality checks to ensure fabricated items meet company specifications and standards. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop and storage areas. * Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while working. * Support inventory counts, shipping/receiving tasks, and material handling as needed. * Help load finished products for delivery or site installation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED preferred. * Previous experience in construction, fabrication, or a warehouse environment is a plus but not required. * Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks. * Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical aptitude. * Willingness to learn fabrication processes and follow instructions closely. * Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Working Conditions: * Work performed primarily in a warehouse/shop setting. * Exposure to loud noises, metalworking tools, dust, and varying temperatures. * Use of safety equipment required at all times.
