What's the role?

The metrology services technologist will serve as a critical member of our applications engineering teams. The primary function of the tech will be to support engineering activities as they are executed. As a metrology services technologist you will perform tasks as assigned by the site manager or delegate designed to accelerate your understanding of the coordinate metrology industrial field.

• Executing Measurement Plans

• Scanning Parts

• Styli Inventory

• Calibration Maintenance

• Machine Inventory - Sensors

• Lab cleanliness

• Shipping & Receiving

• Incoming inspection

• Attend software training classes as directed

• Build Styli from SSC files

• Qualify probe tooling

• Build fixtures

• "machine setup"

• Assist AE & Managers as directed

Do you qualify?

• AS preferred or equivalent job experience or aptitude

• Basic computer knowledge required

• Basic Print Reading experience preferred

Working Environment:

• Local travel for deliveries and errand running (no extended stays)

• Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Able and willing to work minimum of 40 hours per work week.

• Ability to work in a high-speed quality lab environment

The annual pay range for this position is $48,000 - $60,000. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
