Dawn Inspire Internship Program interns will benefit from:

Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements: Hybrid internship - 3 days a week onsite at our Jackson, Michigan Home Office, with regular travel to the Detroit Distribution Center and customer locations to support business needs-typically at least once per week.
Interns will be required to be on-site at the Corporate Jackson office from May 18 - May 21 for onboarding, and from August 4 - 7 for final presentations. These are mandatory in-person participation dates for the internship program.
What Does It Take to be a Sales Operations Field Analyst Intern?
Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or graduate degree centered around business, strategic communication, and/or IT.
- The candidate should be entering their junior year or beyond.
- Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
- Experience with selling and Salesforce/CRMs would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn, and take on new challenges.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
What Will Set You Apart?
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, preferably Salesforce, is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including dashboard creation and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Prior sales experience preferred.
What You'll Do as a Sales Operations Field Analyst Intern
- Collaborate with the Sales Operations Team and select Market Sales Team Members to align Salesforce (CRM), the Dawn selling process, and how sales teams use Salesforce to manage customer accounts.
- Gather feedback and field experience to recommend process improvement, and automation recommendations related to Salesforce utilization.
- Capture field notes from those visits to support our efforts in continuously evolving the Salesforce environment and selling capabilities of our sales teams.
- Take part in market visits and ride-a-longs with Sales team members (30%).
- Collaborate with other cross-functional team members (finance, supply chain, customer service, HR) to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Take initiative to and contribute innovative ideas.
- Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support our culture throughout the duration of the Internship Program.
- Identified projects that you will be responsible for include but may not be limited to:
- Work with sales team to update customer data in Salesforce.
- Document current sales practices and partnering with cross functional teams to identity process improvements.
- Partner with learning and development team to evaluate sales training programs.

Compensation
Undergraduate - $26/hr
