The Apogee Performance Surfaces segment has grown from $100M to $200M in revenue through a recent acquisition. Position Summary

Our Sr. Brand Manager - Chromoluxe & Unisub is a pivotal leadership role responsible for orchestrating the entire market lifecycle of one or more brands in the portfolio. This leader will strategically define and execute the Product roadmap, optimize Pricing strategies, determine effective Place (distribution/channels), and lead compelling Promotion efforts. By owning the full spectrum of the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion), the Sr. Brand Manager will ensure a cohesive, customer-centric approach that drives brand equity, market share, and profitable growth. This role requires a unique blend of strategic vision, commercial acumen, creative leadership, and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

Product (What we offer):

  • Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management, from ideation and market validation to launch and beyond.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify opportunities and inform product development.
  • Define product requirements, features, and user experiences, collaborating closely with engineering/development teams.
  • Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.
  • Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on offerings to ensure market fit and sustained competitive advantage.
  • Own comprehensive technical expertise across product portfolio and market landscape to drive strategic brand initiatives.

Price (How we value it):

  • Establish and implement dynamic pricing strategies in collaboration with the Pricing Analyst based on market value, competitor analysis, cost structures, and target profitability.
  • Oversee pricing models, discount strategies, and promotional pricing in alignment with sales objectives.
  • Analyze pricing effectiveness and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and margin.

Place (Where we sell it/How we distribute):

  • Develop channel strategies that maximize reach and efficiency while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless product availability and customer fulfillment.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for market entry.

Promotion (How we tell the story):

  • Develop and oversee all marketing and communication strategies, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (traditional, content, digital, social, PR, events, trade shows) that drive awareness, engagement, lead generation, and sales.
  • Establish the brand identity, guidelines, and ensure their consistent application.
  • Develop compelling brand narratives and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
  • Direct integrated communications strategy encompassing public relations, media engagement, and crisis management to protect and strengthen brand equity.
  • Cultivate and optimize strategic partnerships across internal teams and external vendors to deliver cohesive, best-in-class customer experiences at every brand interaction.
  • Lead content strategy initiatives, overseeing and or writing the creation of high-impact case studies and thought leadership materials that drive market positioning.
  • Manage marketing collateral order fulfillment for sales channel.

Strategic Leadership & Team Management:

  • Develop the overarching go-to-market strategy, integrating product, pricing, distribution, and promotional efforts.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop marketing team members including Brand Managers, Marketing & Comms, and Assistants.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and/or manage the combined budget for product development, brand building, and marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal ROI.
  • Present strategies, performance, and insights to the executive leadership team and stakeholders.
  • Orchestrate vendor ecosystem management and influencer engagement programs that strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Ensure customer service reps (both internal and external) are representing brand appropriately and are updated on marketing programs. Respond to escalated calls as needed.
  • Partner with Apogee Corporate Communications.

Analytics & Performance Measurement:

  • Establish clear KPIs for all facets of the 4 Ps.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to monitor market trends, product performance, pricing effectiveness, channel efficiency, and campaign results.
  • Generate actionable insights from data to inform strategic adjustments and optimize performance across the entire value chain.

CRM & Marketing Automation Strategy (Salesforce):

  • Oversee the strategic integration of CRM and marketing automation platforms to ensure cohesive brand experiences across the customer lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Digital, NBD) to align CRM initiatives with brand positioning and customer engagement strategies to ensure integrated approach to achieve business objectives.
  • Define and guide audience segmentation strategies to support personalized and brand-consistent communications.
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing and analytics teams to evaluate CRM performance and optimize customer journeys for stronger brand affinity and retention.
  • Champion data-driven storytelling by leveraging CRM insights to inform brand strategy, campaign planning, and messaging hierarchy.

Personal Attributes and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience spanning product management, brand strategy, and marketing, with at least 5+ years in a project, program or people leadership role.
  • B2B and/or B2D experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful pricing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of various distribution models and channel management.
  • Exceptional track record in developing/leading integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business results.
  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Outstanding strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a holistic understanding of business operations.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with product management tools, marketing automation platforms, CRM, and advanced analytics software.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and drive rapid iteration.

Work Environment

Mainly in-office, with potential for travel (up to 25%) for customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, channel/industry partner engagement, and other office locations). May require extended hours to meet critical deadlines and oversee launches.
