Overall Responsibilities:

Provide accounts receivable support.

Education and Experience:

An associate's degree is required, along with knowledge of basic accounting functions and basic Excel skills. Previous experience using Salesforce is desirable but not required.

  • Sufficient vision to read, enter, research, and match customer cash receipts with system documentation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Close daily sales, create invoices in Salesforce, and reconcile to billing support data.
  • Process, post, and match daily credit card payments and cash receipts in Salesforce.
  • Accurate and timely processing of Drop Ship Purchase Orders in Salesforce
  • Complete monthly invoices for Programs, IT, and Warehouse
  • Review daily reports to ensure company compliance with revenue recognition
  • Examine customer service case notes against customer credit notes prior to issuing
  • Handle sensitive data and information, such as credit card numbers, safely and with the highest level of discretion so that no company or customer data is put at risk.
  • Assist the Accounts Receivable Manager in maintaining a clean and accurate AR Aging report with regular review and follow-up.
  • Review, research, and reconcile customer account discrepancies.
  • Provide prompt follow-up, both internally and externally, on customer inquiries and requests.
  • Provide back-up for other positions, cross-trained for, within the accounting department.
  • In the absence of the Accounts Receivable Manager report any department issues to the Controller.
  • Maintain proficiency with technology used in the day-to-day operation of the Accounting department, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Gmail, Salesforce, and credit card processing software.
  • Communicate with customers, staff, and other stakeholders in a manner that is both effective and professional.
  • Follow all Bosma policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Suggest new policies and procedures as needed to address Bosma's evolving mission-driven business.
  • Effectively manage and adapt to change within the organization with a positive attitude.
  • Ensure work is done accurately and in a timely manner.
