The Packaging Analytical Services Group is seeking a team member to perform analytical testing, which may include assembling testing equipment as well as performing a variety of technical analyses on products and material samples. Responsibilities may include performing migration analyses, performing calculations, keeping accurate records, performing a variety of physical and chemical tests, and writing reports.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

* Physical assembly and disassembly of migration testing cells
* Performing migration analyses, including filling and emptying cells, and performing evaporations
* Preparing simulant solutions and processed variables for further analytical testing
* Performing gravimetric, spectroscopic (FTIR), chromatographic (GPC), titration, and other routine analyses
* Contributing to the design and execution of experiments, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations for improvements. Including designing and implementing migration processing/building schedules
* Complying with test methods according to set standards
* Following autoclave, hot room, hot plate, balance, desiccator, and other instrument protocols
* Documenting all formulation processes in notebooks, reports, and spreadsheets
* Maintaining log files and supply of clean glassware, metal, simulants, cells, and parts
* Functioning with sustained supervision and writing reports, outlining procedures used and the results obtained
* Attending quality, safety, technical meetings and seminars as necessary
* Complying with all safety and security regulations, and maintain a clean work area
* Communicating with internal as well as external customers
* Managing work in accordance of timeline goals
* Adhering to company safety, security, and quality standards at all times
* Flexibility to work in groups other than Analytical to support high priority projects for the business

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* At least 6 months of lab experience in industry.
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
* Knowledge of basic math skills
* Computer knowledge for basic inputting, communication, and data analysis
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Basic analytical laboratory skills, such as pipetting and operation of analytical balances

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Lab equipment knowledge

Travel Requirements: 5%
