Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the company's global tax strategy, including planning, forecasting, structuring, and risk management.
  • Oversee all aspects of U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance, including filings, audits, transfer pricing, and cross-border matters (GILTI, BEAT, Subpart F, 163(j), FTC, etc.).
  • Manage the tax accounting close process, ensuring timely, accurate reporting of tax provisions and reconciliations in compliance with ASC 740.
  • Direct the preparation and review of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Provide executive-level guidance on the tax implications of strategic business transactions, investments, and global initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities, staying ahead of changes in domestic and international tax legislation.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and best practices across the tax function to strengthen compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX controls and oversee documentation for all tax-related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. MST or JD a strong plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally with a blend of Big 4/public accounting and corporate industry experience in global, multi-entity environments.
  • Deep technical knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax law.
  • Proven success in leading tax strategy development and execution in multinational organizations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Commitment to professional growth and staying current on evolving tax legislation and practices.

The base pay for this position is $170,000 to $210,000 annually.
This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
