$25/hr-$35/hr (Ok with more if needed) 4am-2pm Monday-Thursday + OT or 2pm-12am Monday-Thursday + OT Ixonia, WI Job Category: Manufacturing Job Details: 1st or 2nd shift. I.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS: * 2-3 years of prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. * Mechanical aptitude with ability to interpret schematics and drawings. * Working knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, electrical, PLC controllers and process equipment. * Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. * Good interpersonal communication skills. o Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities/tasks on a routine basis. o Must be detail oriented. I.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Preventative maintenance of machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. * Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. * Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and doing other preventive maintenance actions. * Proceed on assignments with minimum supervision and work is subject to final inspection. * Comply with policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system. On occasion, while performing the essential duties of this job, the role may require walking through the plant which means: o Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. o Forklift traffic. o Near moving mechanical parts o Exposure to occasional loud noise level o Exposed to electromagnetic interference environment. I.PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: o Required to wear steel toed foot protection that meets ANSI Z41-1991. o Safety glasses must be worn at all times in all shop areas this includes employees who need corrective lenses. o Various tasks may require an employee to wear additional personal protective equipment such as hearing protection. o Additional information regarding employee personal protective equipment can be found in the Safety Manual.
