Senior Strategy Manager

YOUR MISSION
  • Work with the CPG Leadership Team to maintain strategic alignment across the PUMA, PNA, and CPG organizations.
  • Play an instrumental role in the Global Strategic Plan for CPG in areas such as annual financial planning, regional communication strategy, global sports marketing and commercial insights.
  • Lead the creation and execution of departmental and company-wide presentations, town halls and other business presentations.
  • Work with the CPG SLT group to build on annual OSAM goals for the North American and Global business.
  • Develop short/mid/long-term Global Golf BU strategies and drive critical decision making for the global business.
  • Lead North American Stronger Together project with key stakeholders in Carlsbad, Boston and Germany, in all areas of product development, warehousing, sourcing, service and IT
  • Plan, prepare content and facilitate 2 annual leadership strategic planning workshops (short and mid/long-term focused).
  • Plan, prepare content and facilitate bi-weekly Senior Leadership Team staff meetings.
  • Work with the VP Sales and VP of Ecom to find new business development opportunities within the DTC businesses (stores & ecom) of PUMA and CPG in North America.
  • Analyze competitor and marketplace strategies and performance to identify Global opportunities & threats.
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to create analysis, interpret results and report findings to key members of the senior leadership team.
  • Explore, evaluate and propose opportunities to drive corporate innovation.
YOUR TALENT
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Strategic Planning, Management Consulting, Business Planning (Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Management, Project Management) and/or Marketing, Brand Management or Sports Management environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong business acumen and ability to assess impact of decisions on overall business performance
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, including ability to build impactful and creative Powerpoint presentations
  • Exemplary attention to detail and deadline oriented
  • Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with the executive team, third party partners and peers in an effective manner
  • Creativity and capability to think outside the box and innovatively problem solve
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally
  • Willingness to take initiative and propose, initiate and execute independent projects
  • Comfortable with diverse and dynamic activities as well as prioritization
  • Minimal travel required (10-15%)

The Hiring range base pay for this position is $82,000 - $135,300 + Bonus + Benefits
