ATI is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Specialist to support our Brackenridge, PA production facility.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for handling material transactions in Oracle, maintaining inventory at a high level of accuracy, coordinating with internal - external groups both locally and at other ATI Locations, including coordination with local operations to meet specific production requirements.

A successful Supply Chain Specialist will quickly grasp ATI's processes and business culture, successfully balance multiple projects at various stages with limited supervision in a fast-paced, competitive environment, analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and timely thru the implementation of long-term solutions, and possess a strong continuous improvement mindset.

Essential Functions



  • Learn and work from product knowledge to be a frontrunner in the standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement of supply chain activities.
  • Auditing of work for accuracy before releasing to finance and payables.
  • Regulate conformance with purchase specifications and initiate change requests.
  • Coordinate with Technical, Quality Control, Purchasing and Finance to drive standardization for their responsible group.
  • Identify standard work opportunities and work to solution
  • Make recommendations and drive improvements to the process.
  • Detect and resolve unusual conditions, improper operations, and deviant situations.
  • Perform these and other duties as assigned or as indicated by responsibilities.


Basic Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent


Preferred Qualifications



  • A degree in supply chain, business, or similar field
  • Experience in Oracle or similar business systems
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with recycled, purchased raw materials
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Computer skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Ability to organize and lead projects.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze relevant data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both verbal and written with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Ability to accomplish goals with excellent judgment, motivation, and planning capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications
