*Part-Time Patient Services Specialist - Laurel, MD* We're seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join our outpatient clinic team in Laurel. This part-time role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others in a healthcare setting.
Schedule: * Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM * Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (24 hours/week) *Key Responsibilities:* * Greet and check in patients with professionalism and empathy * Answer phones, schedule appointments, and follow up with patients * Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and manage patient charges * Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems (Therapy Source & Rehab Toolkit) * Support front desk operations and contribute to a positive clinic environment *Qualifications:* * 1+ year of experience in medical front desk or customer service * Strong communication and multitasking skills * Proficiency with computers and EMR systems * Healthcare experience preferred *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
