This Quality Assurance Engineer will be Ensuring products and processes meeting quality standards by developing and executing tests, identifying and resolving defects, performing root cause analysis, and implementing improvements through collaboration with development and business teams.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure process adherence through process audits
  • Daily communication with production team and other departments
  • Utilizing Quality Management Systems. Work to develop, implement, and monitor overall process mapping for quality improvement purposes.
  • Review and drive resolution of daily nonconformities
  • Drive the management review board meetings to disposition nonconformities.
  • Training production personnel to quality & assembly procedures.
  • Track production First Pass Yields, and drive improvement projects.
  • Drive root cause analysis on failures and defects.
  • Lead the health of production line. (calibration, utility, daily production equipment checks)
  • Work cross functionally to improve process & product quality, through assembly standard work improvements.
  • Every Job/Project ITP review and approval, Job/Project midpoint Quality review and release, and Job/Project Final Quality review and release
  • Report to senior leadership daily on key performance indicators and improvement initiative status.
  • Support the commercial & Nuclear product lines

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control or similar experience)
  • proven experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Have the ability to use a range of manual measuring equipment
  • Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Have good analytical skills and problem solving
  • Have good interpersonal skills, inclusive working style and able to effectively interface with all levels of internal organization and internal customers
  • An accreditation as Internal/External auditor for ISO 9001/14001/45001 would be advantageous preferred
