What You Will Do: GFT is seeking a Watermain Resident Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Lisle, IL! This role followsi a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Lisle, IL office. Working on the Transportation team at GFT offers the opportunity to engage in transformative projects that enhance transportation infrastructure and improve community connectivity. What you'll be challenged to do: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' industry experience related to job duties with roadway construction with an emphasis on watermain installation projects. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Lead pipe replacements. Main "Trunk" line watermain installation. Residential Watermain installation. Watermain pressure testing/certification. Watermain jacking and open trench installation. Education \| Experience: What you will bring to our firm: Bachelor's degree in construction management or in Civil Engineering, or related field. Requires minimum 5 years' industry experience related to job duties with roadway construction with an emphasis on watermain installation projects. Individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software and other Internet software. Excellent Leadership and Communication experience required. Must be able to drive to site and hold a valid driver's license. Compensation: The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $160,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
