Job Title: Marketing Automation Manager

Location(s): Raleigh, NC

About the Role:

The Marketing Automation Manager is a hands-on, technology-savvy professional who thrives at the intersection of sales, marketing, and client services. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing automation programs, managing webinars, and supporting a large, fast-paced marketing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Marketo, On24, and Salesforce, and the ability to balance both strategic initiatives and tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities


  • Campaign Management & Automation

    • Build, launch, and optimize email campaigns (blast, nurture, retention, cross-sell, upgrade).
    • Manage lead-nurturing workflows, triggers, and landing pages in Marketo.
    • Configure A/B testing and implement improvements based on performance analytics.
    • Ensure accurate data integration between Marketo and Salesforce.


  • Webinar & Event Support

    • Set up, run, and provide technical support for webinars via On24 (speaker setup, audio/video tests, troubleshooting, slides, behind-the-scenes execution).
    • Export and analyze attendee engagement data from On24 for reporting and follow-up campaigns.


  • Collaboration & Support

    • Partner with Marketing Managers and Demand Generation teams to deliver programs that drive leads and pipeline growth.
    • Provide technical support to a large marketing department (30+ employees), managing requests and tickets efficiently.
    • Develop and communicate best practices across sales, marketing, and client services.


  • Analytics & Reporting

    • Analyze campaign performance by segment, campaign, and customer profile.
    • Import/export marketing data into reporting decks/slides for leadership review.
    • Monitor ROI of campaigns and recommend data-driven improvements.




Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in marketing automation and campaign execution (Marketo expertise required).
  • Salesforce CRM experience required.
  • On24 webinar platform experience (building and managing events) required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:


  • 4-6 years of overall marketing/communications experience (B2B/SaaS strongly preferred).
  • Marketo Certified Expert strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAS or data analytics tools a plus.
  • Experience in marketing persona development, segmentation, and social media integration.
