Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to provide technical support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) in support of the Tactical Data Networks Enterprise Program.

The selected candidate will bring deep subject matter expertise in the design, testing, deployment, and sustainment of tactical communications systems and data links, supporting multiple Air Force and Joint mission sets. This is a full-time onsite position located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA.



Responsibilities

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Lead and/or advise logistics management operations supporting systems, missions, and acquisition programs.

  • Perform planning, coordination, evaluation, and execution of logistical actions across the program lifecycle.

  • Work both independently and collaboratively on complex logistics projects.

  • Identify critical logistics requirements such as funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies for Asset Management, Material Accountability, and Supply Chain Risk Management.

  • Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to align logistics with program objectives.

  • Develop and advise on alternative logistics courses of action based on funding and schedule changes.

  • Conduct or support Logistics Health Assessments and Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP).

  • Implement and manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) programs.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable Equipment Specialist, ensuring technical and logistical support for assigned assets.

  • Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition policy (DoD 5000), Product Support Business Case Analysis, and the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements from the DoD PSM Guidebook.

  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office tools for documentation, planning, and reporting.



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance

Education: BA/BS Degree in related field

Years of Experience: 3+ years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Integrated Product Support (IPS) planning and execution

  • Supply Chain Risk Management

  • Asset Management and GFE lifecycle tracking

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

  • Ability to work independently or lead teams in a dynamic environment

  • Skilled in briefing senior stakeholders and coordinating across functional domains
