What You've Accomplished



  • Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of directly related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field
  • May require specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification
  • Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs, as required for specific roles
  • Good written/verbal skills; ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, vendors and customers
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines required to perform assigned tasks
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stoop, and remain standing for extended periods of time.

  • Working closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure the application process is set up to perform as designed to achieve maximum results and efficiently run the process.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an NDE Technician in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the NDE Solutions Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include performing/leading system deployment and testing of a chemical application system comprised of equipment components contained in sealants. Equipment components will include pumps, resin, filters, reverse osmosis, heaters, venting, etc. Testing will also include large volume process tanks and Frac tanks based on a layout design and P&ID drawing along with the application of established chemical cleaning techniques and procedures. This role will provide technical support and improvement recommendations related to planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining structures, systems, and components. This position requires up to 50% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $26.90 - $35.30 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
