WVU Online is currently accepting applications for a Project Specialist. This role will be full-time on-site at the downtown Morgantown campus. About the Opportunity The Project Specialist for WVU Online plays a key collaborative role in supporting enrollment growth of online academic programs at West Virginia University. This position works across academic units to help launch new programs, improve existing ones, and support strategic enrollment initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include triaging requests through the project management system, drafting and assigning tasks, utilizing templates to create workflows, writing polished resources like onboarding guides and FAQs, and participating in frequent meetings and check-ins. The role also involves monitoring data to identify trends or concerns and proactively suggesting solutions. Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000 - Any offer will be based on education and experience but will not exceed $55,000. Application Instructions

What You'll Do
- Coordinate between decentralized academic units and WVU Online on enrollment management initiatives, student support services, marketing campaigns, instructional design, quality assurance, and policy
- Guide academic partners through strategic enrollment planning and implementation by providing data-informed recommendations
- Maintain clear timelines and shared project documentation to track milestones and ensure consistent communication between stakeholders
- Analyze enrollment trends, funnel metrics, and market research to support academic units' targets, program health, and growth opportunities
- Communicate with marketing and admissions teams to ensure accurate and timely updates to program messaging, promotional materials, application workflows, and communications campaigns
- Develop and maintain project templates, checklists, and reporting tools to support consistent processes and scalable onboarding of new academic partners and offerings
- Monitor progress on key enrollment deliverables, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues as needed
- Organize and facilitate meetings, working groups, and implementation check-ins to ensure alignment between academic units and WVU Online
- Ensure program plans and enrollment activities adhere to university policies, academic calendars, and compliance standards
- Support strategic planning by contributing to the development of project documentation, reporting, and process improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, education, or a related field
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
