Job Title: Stockroom/Inventory Clerk Duration: 6 Months Contract Location: Irvine CA 92618 Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Pay rate range: $19-$25/Hour on W2 without benefits NOTE: Forklift experience or Certification is required. Driving License with clean record. Requires knowledge of stockroom procedure (MP-1000-021) and Cost point inventory transactions. Job Description: Following well-defined procedures and with normal supervision: check incoming material against accompanying documents to determine completeness and accuracy; Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as assigned and keep stock and stockroom neat and orderly. Requires basic knowledge of stockroom procedure (MP-1000-021) and Cost point inventory transactions. Maintains inventory accuracy through careful counting and transaction processing. Counts and verifies incoming materials and assemblies. Performs cycle counts and physical inventories and completes cycle count functions in Cost point. Position involves ability to frequently or constantly exert up to 20 pounds of force and occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force to move Uses company van for pick-ups and deliveries. Required Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year related experience and/or training. Experience in a computerized inventory environment desired, with hands-on computer experience. Forklift driver experience required. Must wear steel-toed shoes and PPE in required work areas.
