Job Description
- To ensure all Appeal/Denial Mailing jobs are batched, printed, inserted, scanned and metered properly within customer service level agreement (SLA)
- Load the Envelope Feeder with appropriate client envelopes
- Operate machines that insert/fold printed matter such as letters, booklets into folders or envelopes.
- Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently.
- Oversee output as well as being accountable for helpers while the machine is running.
- Inspects the finished product by verifying the correct construction and components to ensure that mail ability and quality standards are met.
- Assists in hand inserting projects as needed.
- Cleans work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures related to, but not limited to, security and protecting privacy of client and company information, production standards, and general safety.
- Read and interpret job information on order to determine production operation and specification to be performed.
- Make continuous quality checks throughout operations.
- Role will work directly with confidential client data containing protected health information and/or personally identifiable information and individual must complete annual HIPAA training.
- Support other tasks and responsibilities, both permanent and temporary as assigned or directed by management.
- Maintain equipment according to manufacturing and company standards.
- Maintain mailing and assembly areas in a clean and organized manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment
- Knowledge of Computers with PCS access, Xerox D125 Printer, Xerox D144 Printer, Pitney Bowes Rival Inserter, Barcode Scanner, and Pitney Bowes Meter Machine.
- Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job.
- May provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracy.
- Must have basic knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office, MAC word processing, spreadsheets, or other programs specific to the job in order to complete job duties successfully
- Must have adequate oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments
- Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needs
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and rarely lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages
- Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at level of detail required to resolve issues

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Thesalary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $18.80 - $26.55/ hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs.Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
