Assists technicians in performing operational and safety testing, maintenance and repairs on general patient care equipment. Conducts inventory of equipment on units and keeps reports on upcoming safety check and repair schedules for technicians

Essential Functions
-Maintains equipment records and accurate inventory.
-Coordinates and completes scheduled and unscheduled repair and maintenance of physical plant by company approved vendors.
-Performs documentation of work performed, inventories and histories.
-Updates the inventory and control systems for all equipment supported by the department
-Assists BMET Techs with maintenance and repair of clinical and other electromechanical related equipment.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Biomedical Technology preferred

Experience
related experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate problem solving skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and focus on quality work.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes.
- Ability to apply knowledge of maintenance and repair of hospital equipment.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
