Summary
The Manager, Regional QHSE supports the local QHSE and healthcare specialists & drives for improved Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental initiatives within the Warehouses.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Functional management of Area's HSE Manager.
- Establish, enhance and maintain global HSE standards and guidelines in
- cooperation with Head HSE corporate.
- Manage and coordinate implementation of HSE guidelines and standards
- within the region.
- Establish regional HSE organisation in line with area customer / industry
- requirements in regards to resource allocation.
- Define global external HSE communication (Corp. HSE communication,
- internet, annual report etc.) in cooperation with Head HSE corporate.
- Continuous evaluation and identification of HSE customer / industry
- requirements in cooperation with Head HSE corporate and Area HSE manager.
- Determination of annual regional HSE targets and set-up of action plan in
- cooperation with Head HSE corporate.
- Estimation of regional HSE expenditure and integration in regional financial planning.
- Provide quarterly HSE reporting in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Rollout of corporate HSE awareness campaigns in the region.
- Continuously develop area HSE managers (trainings to area HSE manager).
- Support tender management in regards to HSE requirements for Regional Accounts (RFI/RFQ/RFP).
- Involved in HSE crisis and accident management as outlined in the respective crisis management guidelines.
- Monitor and support the achievement of the Global Quality Objectives & Targets;
- Ensure the adherence to the global corrective and preventive action standards as well as being actively involved in the root cause analysis and agreement of corrective and preventive actions for severe and reoccurring incidents, audit findings, KPI deviations etc.;
- Participate in the area of responsibility (AR) during external/internal audits against ISO 9001; ISO 45001; ISO 14001
- Participate in the area of responsibility (AR) during external/internal audits against quality management system (QMS) program for healthcare network sites
- Monitor, maintain, and coordinate adherence to quality management system (QMS) program and good distribution practices (GDP) with staff and site leadership for healthcare network sites.
- Perform tasks as QHS responsible in CAPA process
- Organize and execute training and make training material available.
- Ensure, unless local legal or similar requirements dictate, global standards are either implemented or challenged for improvement;
- Ensure legislation compliance evaluations are completed at least annually.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of the corporate QHSE Management System in the AR
- Engage regularly with Management in the AR ensuring QHSE performance is met.
Support
- FMEA Risk Assessments and monitor progress of measures to mitigate risks and control Environmental exposure to a tolerable level. Report it to the Business Unit Manager.
- Liaise with Warehouse management / EPS (where applicable) to ensure PPE register is maintained
- Liaise with Warehouse / facility management to ensure Equipment register is up-to date.
- Liaise with Warehouse / facility management to ensure licenses of recycling contractors. electricians and HVAC technicians are obtained.
- Facilitate HSE Committee Meetings, where applicable.
Decision Making Authority
- Stop any work where in your opinion it would be deemed unsafe to proceed in co-operation with local Management.
- Barricade any restricted or unsafe areas in the workplace.
Educational background / Work experience
- Project management experience (minimum 3 years)
