- Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Starting Pay: $20.77
- Merit Increases: Bonus available after 3-month service, yearly performance-based increases.
POSITION OVERVIEW As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing support via phone and in person. You'll assist with service inquiries, account updates, and issue resolution, all while delivering a high level of professionalism and care. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer inbound customer calls to address concerns, accept payments, start, stop, or change services. Communication with customers includes phone, email, or in person. Record customer information into software and create work orders.
- Maintain and update customer profiles, including but not limited to service pricing, billing address, email address, routing, sequencing, and container information.
- Cover front desk / reception duties as needed.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members, operations, and maintenance department to resolve customer disputes
- Demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
- Effective use of software applications, at a minimum MS Word and Excel proficiency.
- Work in a fast paced, cooperative, high call volume environment. Promote additional services when appropriate.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Work environment is an office setting. Areas are clean, ventilated, and well lit. Our Customer Service Reps normally have their own workstation or cubicle space and are equipped with a telephone, headset, and computer.
- CSR call areas can be noisy, and work may be repetitious, with little time in between calls, while still providing excellent service. Calls may be evaluated to ensure high standards.
- Extended periods of sitting, typing, and screen time.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years of Customer Service experience
- High volume call center experience a plus
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and emailpreferred. Typing and 10-key skills are required.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems. Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
