As part of our content development team, you'll help create, curate, and distribute high-quality geospatial content that empowers our users to tackle some of today's most complex challenges.

Responsibilities



  • Engage with Esri product management and our user communities to synthesize user requirements and industry needs into development goals
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product engineers, and other stakeholders to build and test ArcGIS functionality related to content publishing and access
  • Drive the planning, design, quality assurance, certification and release of ArcGIS content discovery and access functionality
  • Support and interact with internal and external customers and partners to improve the value and usability of content within ArcGIS
  • Identify workflow enhancements and process gaps in content publishing, discovery, and accessibility
  • Assist with implementation of new technology and processes to support the content project management teams
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies and patterns with our existing software and content
  • Communicate plans and status to internal stakeholders, senior management, and key partners
  • Assess product quality and release readiness


Requirements



  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and/or implementing solutions using ArcGIS software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, stay organized, and deliver high-quality work independently or in a team setting
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for leading projects and making a meaningful impact
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Extensive experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise software
  • Industry experience in content development, production or publishing
  • Experience in image processing or publishing workflows and tooling
  • Familiarity with system and web/GIS server administration
  • Master's degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field

$92,144 $153,920 USD
