Supply Specialist 2: Numberhead Specialist

Must have mechanical ability to work with small components for cleaning, inspecting and replacing. Mechanicalnumberheadsthat range from 9 digit to 43 digit wheels that consist of font sizes from 1/8" to 3/16". Mechanicalnumberheadsare used in-line on presses and finishing equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaningnumberheads
• Oilingnumberheads
• Inspection ofnumberheads
• Repair ofnumberheads
• Maintaining inventory ofnumberheadsand parts
• Troubleshootnumberheadissues with press operators
• Order parts and or identifynumberheadsthat need to be purchased
• Experience with Modulus check digits or the ability to learn and understand the calculations and thenumberheadwheels required for each.
• Utilize internal scheduling program for upcoming for preparingnumberheadsfor each press
• Ability to understand cylinder size and skip requirements for each order.
• Assist with receiving in production materials and storage
• Assist with ink mixing / inventory as needed.
• Utilize internal scheduling program to determine
• The ability to use a fork truck / stand up ND truck.
• Have basic computer skills to update spreadsheets daily/weekly.

Shift: 1st 7am to 3pm (Position has some flexibility with respect to scheduled work hours. Training for this role will occur on 2nd shift for up to 1 month, 3pm to 11pm)

Thepay range for this role at the noted location is$18.69 to $26.78 per hour.In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. • High School Diploma or GED preferred with 5 or more years relevant work experience
• Requires knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes key to successfully execute and complete the duties of the job.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines.
• Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles, required.
• Strong knowledge of required information systems, including materials tracking systems, storage and retrieval systems, inventory control systems and applicable reporting systems which may include spreadsheets, databases and other materials receipt and usage systems.
