Description

Acara Solution is looking for a Windows Software Developer for our client located in Canonsburg, PA.

  • As a CL-Windows Software Developer (Sr Software Engineer) for the Torpedo Systems Group, you will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for sustaining and creating software for embedded applications.
  • You will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
  • A significant level of Windows application development architecture (Win32 apps, WPF apps, WinUI 3 apps).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical architecture decisions for complex products.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Windows kernel-level debugging and diagnostics using Windows DDK, WinDBG, or equivalent tools.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SQL/SQL Server or relational database experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with DevOps concepts such as:
    1. Implementing Version Control and standing up branching strategies.
    2. Automating processes for build, test, and deploy.
    3. Lean principles in software development.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Agile experience.
  • C/C++
  • Object-Oriented Development.
  • Windows/Visual Studio
  • Comfortable implementing ideas from scratch, owning major application features, and taking responsibility for their maintenance and improvement over time.
  • Deep understanding of software design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, etc.
  • Demonstrated in-depth experience developing, testing, and debugging software for Windows OS using Visual Studio IDE and Windows SDK.
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of Windows low-level systems development and API.
  • Welcoming contributions to build a Good collaborative team culture.
  • Good understanding of the software development process and engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
  • Creative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problems.
  • Comfortable providing technical leadership.
