LSEG is accelerating its sales and service model to better support our high-volume customer segment. As Global Head of Account Management for Emerging Accounts, you will define and lead the global strategy to scale a digitally led, data-driven account management model that drives growth, retention, and efficiency across tens of thousands of customers in our Data & Analytics, Risk Intelligence, and FTSE businesses.

This senior leadership role blends commercial strategy, digital innovation, and operational excellence. You will lead a global team of ~100 Account Managers across key Centers of Excellence, implement a consistent and scalable coverage model, embed modern sales tooling, and develop the next generation of Account Management talent. You will carry commercial accountability for segment performance, delivering measurable value to customers and the Group. This role reports directly into the Group Head of Global Customer Success and is part of the broader Sales & Account Management Extended Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute the global commercial strategy for high-volume segments, delivering revenue, retention, and growth targets.
  • Drive global consistency by evolving the Account Management function for the Emerging Segment.
  • Identify regional and customer trends to expand value realization (upsell, cross-sell) and strengthen retention.
  • Build a performance-driven culture focused on value delivery and disciplined sales execution.
  • Partner with Sales, E-Commerce, and Marketing to drive pipeline generation and conversion.

Coverage & Operating Model

  • Design and implement a global coverage model leveraging data, segmentation, and automation.
  • Establish KPIs, team structures, and operating rhythms to enable scale and accountability.
  • Define collaboration between Segment and Regional leadership for a unified performance view.
  • Lead hub location strategy, maturing existing Centers of Excellence and assessing new opportunities.

Digital Tooling & Enablement

  • Champion adoption of automation, AI, and data-driven sales signals to drive proactive, scalable engagement.
  • Partner with Enablement, Operations, and Engineering to evolve the digital sales tech stack.

Talent Development

  • Lead a high-performing global team, recruiting strong leaders and developing talent.
  • Build digital-first skills across the team and ensure rapid onboarding for new hires.
  • Foster a culture of coaching, inclusion, high performance, and succession readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Embodies LSEG Enterprise Leadership by acting across functions and geographies with a long-term view.
  • Partner with Digital Customer Success, Operations, Product, Marketing, Sales, and E-Commerce to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Play a key role in advancing LSEG's digital sales and service transformation.

About You

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership, including leading large, digitally enabled account management teams.
  • Proven success in managing high-volume, low-to-mid ACV segments across global markets; financial data or technology sector experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of digital sales tools, customer engagement platforms, and scalable revenue strategies.
  • Commercially minded and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer, effective across all levels and functions.
  • Inspirational leader with a passion for digital transformation and operational excellence.
  • Skilled at navigating complexity and change in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $203,900 - $339,900. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
