Fabrication Operator

We have an opening for a Fabrication Operator at our nVent Greenville, PA facility (formerly ILSCO Extrusions), that specializes in extruded and fabricated aluminum componentry for intercompany use and external third-party customers. The primary function of this job is to operate all saws and related fabrication equipment throughout the plant.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Operate saws and related fabrication equipment to maintain efficiency of the equipment and the plant, and quality of product.
• Obtain instructions and working schedule from supervisor as necessary.
• Work in cooperation with other personnel to maintain high productivity, efficiency, and quality of product.

• Report production results.
• Report equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
• Use all standard gauges such as calipers, scales or any special gauges or fixtures to verify compliance of extruded profile.

YOU HAVE:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to trade school or associate degree background in manufacturing
• Good knowledge of systems and processes
• The ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of the position, including routine lifting in an industrial manufacturing facility
