Summary/Objective:

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for performing all duties related to order entry, ensuring daily order processing goals are met with accuracy and efficiency. This role plays a critical part in maintaining excellent customer service by responding to internal communications promptly and professionally, recognizing that the quality of work reflects the value Lippert provides as a brand. Must be detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to continuous improvement. They must be able to navigate various customer channels, including OEM, Marine, WD, and Specialty Markets, while maintaining accurate data and supporting a seamless order-to-fulfillment process. This position requires strong collaboration, adaptability, and alignment with Lippert's Core Values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Accurately enter customer orders received before 2:00 PM on the same business day
  1. Work effectively within a team environment and participate in cross-training across order entry functions.
  1. Monitoring customer orders sent electronically daily with minimal errors - include verifying/updating customer information and monitoring the internal process of all account orders.
  1. Ability to learn general knowledge of the product line and is familiar with promotions and pricing schedules.
  1. Performs all other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

  1. High school degree or GED

  • Enter, process, and maintain customer orders with speed and accuracy to meet daily business deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer information and order data across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams to support seamless order-to-fulfillment operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate within a team environment while adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Maintain working knowledge of products, promotions, and pricing to support accurate order entry.

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position primarily seated and entering data. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.

Travel:

Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Previous Data Entry Experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • RV Experience
