Non CDL Driver

Staffmark Drivers is seeking experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers in Indianapolis, IN, to join our team! This is a direct-hire opportunity delivering furniture to residential locations with the added benefit of being home daily.

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM start, 10-12 hour shifts (days vary based on customer needs)

Job Details:

• Routes: Home daily, delivering furniture from Wayfair to residential locations
• Touch Freight | Furniture delivery and assembly as needed
• Unload/Load: Drivers load their own truck; assist with deliveries and assembly at customer sites
• Lifting: Frequent lifting and handling of furniture; ability to climb stairs required
• Vehicle Type: 26 ft Box Truck

Job Duties:

• Perform required vehicle safety inspections before, during, and after dispatch
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of truck
• Represent Staffmark in a professional and positive manner
• Read and interpret delivery instructions and exception forms
• Complete deliveries on schedule while providing excellent customer service

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Non-CDL box truck driving experience within the last 3 years; 2+ years furniture delivery experience preferred
• Valid DOT Medical Card (reimbursed after 90 days with good performance)
• Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screening(s)
• Able to lift and carry furniture safely and climb stairs as needed
• 21+ years of age
• Strong communication and customer service skills
