Summary: Responsible for maintaining the steady flow of organic materials through shakers, coordinating with the heavy equipment operator to ensure proper filling, and performing housekeeping tasks such as scraping, sweeping, shoveling, and stacking bags. Provides support as needed under the direction of the foreman. Education/Experience: * High School Diploma or GED * Entry-level experience required * Electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair experience preferred Skills and Competencies: * Ability to follow all safety practices to protect self and others * Ability to work in dusty environments and in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rainy) * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds * Ability to climb ladders and remain on feet for extended periods Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain material flow through shakers by breaking up bridging to ensure continuous operation * Keep finishing screens clear by scraping to maintain product flow * Perform housekeeping duties to prevent buildup of material under conveyors, in aisles, and on catwalks, following all safety procedures * Stack and organize bags as needed * Assist with additional tasks at the direction of the foreman injuries- Meets quality and quantity standards- Informs the maintenance personnel of any equipment problems in which they may encounter - Assists with small bag line operations as needed- Assists with restacking pallets and clean-up as needed
