The Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System under the direction of the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Audit and improve effectiveness of existing Quality Management processes.
- Drive cross-functional problem-solving efforts to root cause and develop corrective actions.
- Create, review, and update controlled process documentation.
- Define, implement, and evaluate process validation tools.
- Drive cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
- Compile and analyze Key Performance Indicator data to drive organizational change efforts.
- Maintain monitoring and measuring equipment (MME) system.
- Review capability to comply with customer requirements.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment
- ITAR REQUIREMENTS- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident, (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. * 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. * 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis
- Auditing of ISO9001:2015 or comparable quality system
- Statistical analysis in a manufacturing environment
- ANSI/ESD S20.20 controls
- SQL or VBA
